RDS - Responsible Down Standard

At Monel we only use RDS certified down.
RDS is an independent, vountary global standard for ethical animal care. The certification is used for goose - and duck down and guarantees that the animals are not subjected to unnesessary suffering.

Picking feathers from live animals and force feeding is prohibited, and down must be from animals that have been put down in relation to food production. 

There is also an original certification that provides the consumer with the possibility of tracing where the down in products come from.
